about ivy boyd
I've been an artist my whole life but it took getting laid off twice from ad agencies to figure out I wanted to make art on people.
I took a job at Sephora in 2012 and never looked back. Makeup is the best of both worlds for me, combining creativity and caring for people.
As a child, I was constantly drawing, attended summer art camp, art club and private art lessons. I have a degree in studio art with a graphic design emphasis, but people are definitely my preferred canvas.
From weddings to commercials, presidential candidates to Real Housewives, I've been fortunate to work on thousands of faces in my 13+ years in the beauty industry.
My husband Jake and I have been married 16 years.
We live with our 3 cats: Pixel, Wilbur and Otis.
When not doing makeup, I enjoy drawing and painting, art museums, shopping for mid-century furniture, coffee and breakfast foods, animals and skincare.
